What To Expect

Absolutely Chicago Segway Tours

There is nothing like seeing the city on a Chicago Segway tour. With our exceptional guides, you will get an amazing overview of the Windy City's sights and sounds. You get up close to all of the attractions and cover a whopping 7/8 miles round trip. Segways are intuitive and easy to ride; if you can stand you can ride! You only glide with a maximum of 8 people per tour guide, so you are guaranteed to have personalized and fun adventure in the Second City that is second to none. Guests are asked to arrive 15 minutes prior to the tour's scheduled departure time to check in and fill out waivers. All guests will be fitted with helmets. The tour begins at the departure time with a training video and comprehensive one-on-one training with the tour guide. Training ensures that even the most nervous guest feels comfortable for the duration of the tour.

It was our family’s first time on Segways! Amanda was the BEST and was so patient with us. She was so knowledgeable of the history of the City and all of the places we were seeing. Segways are a great way to cover a lot of ground and we had so much fun. We will definitely be looking for Segway tours in other places we visit!

This was so cool! My husband and I visited the city for the Bon Jovi concert (also WAY awesome!) and had an extra day to cruise around the city looking for stuff to do. We planned to spend the day visiting museums and on our way there, saw the big flags for Absolutely Chicago Segway Tours. We whipped the car around and signed up. Our tour guide, Tyler, was thorough in his training of everyone on the tour and within a few minutes, we were rolling! I was a little freaked out at first but eventually it became very easy to control and maneuver. It's very clear that Tyler loves his city, and that his knowledge base is deep and wide. We would have ridden for hours learning more about Chicago history. This is a great way to cover loads of area and learn fun "insider info" about a city, whether local or visitor. Don't let Tyler's diminutive stature fool you: he's quick witted and slick on that Segway. He has cat-like reflexes and a knack for remembering names. He's an asset to the team and to the city of Chicago. They should consider themselves blessed to have him. We are now ready to conquer each new city we visit on Segways and I think my husband is heading to the bank today to open a new "Segway Savings Account". If you're in Chicago, don't miss this ridiculously cool opportunity!
