We wanted to get a quick city tour during our long stopover at O'Hare Airport. I had booked Chicago Private Tours based on the positive reviews here on Tripadvisor and we were not disappointed.
Booking the trip was easy, Andrea replied quickly to my emails and was helpful. The driver was there to pick us up on time, he was very courteous and the minivan was comfortable for the whole tour.
The tour was great as a quick overview of (some of) the main sights in Chicago, it gave an excellent first impression of the town. Matt was our guide, always full of energy, very knowledgeable. We looked at as many sights as was possible in the relatively short time, including a stop in Lincoln Park, a walk around Wrigley Field and lunch in the Signature Lounge at the 96th floor of the Hankock building. Afterwards we were brought back to the airport in time for our connecting flight back to Europe.
A few minor things to improve: The day before our tour I had no information, how we would meet our driver at the airport, or his telephone number. So I called Andrea and got the information, but it would have been helpful, if they had sent me this information upfront. Finally, two days before our trip I received an email with an invoice (in PDF format) that contained no numbers – at least none that could be seen on our iPads. Andrea said this was a known problem and I would be able to see the numbers on a desktop computer.

Thank you for your review. We always strive to give 5 star service. You were informed via email to call the office once your group landed. The office directly dispatches the driver to your locations as the driver is waiting at the beginning of your terminal in accordance with your flight information, and can then pull up to the appropriate door. You called and requested the driver’s direct cell phone number, which was provided to you, but is not the typical procedure. When tours are booked far in advance we will make sure to resend the procedures for pick up to make sure there is no confusion. Thanks again for taking the time to share your review.
In regards of the receipt: The receipt is sent via our merchant account that is attached to a bank, and is not viewable on some tablets and smart phones when opened. It is, however, viewable on all computers. We did inform you of this when you notified us you were unable to view document on your device. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
