Chicago’s famous Pirates Pub Sail departs every Friday night at 9pm aboard Tall Ship Windy at Navy Pier. This is a two hour charter and returns to Navy Pier at 11:00pm. Your ticket includes complimentary water, soda and beer. Aboard the 148 foot Tall Ship Windy, you will enjoy the merriment of days of yore. You will be able to listen and sing to the traditional songs of the Pirates while enjoying the spectacular scenery that is the Chicago skyline and the wonderment of Lake Michigan. Chicago’s famous Pirates Pub Sail is an event that should not be missed.

We had a good time sailing on the Windy. Nick did an excellent job of telling us about the pirates of the inland sea.

We did the pirate sail this weekend and loved it! My kids are 3 and 7 and they enjoyed the pirate tales and being out on the water. I recommend getting in line early so you can get a good spot. Smaller kids can't sit on the higher parts of the boat, but all spots are great. Seeing the sails come up and not being on a motor boat was great and peaceful. The pirate story was fun - I definitely enjoyed it more than my 3 year old. I would definitely do this again w/ family and friends in town.

Great way to see beautiful views of the city’s skyline. The crew was very friendly and extremely entertaining. Whether you are 6, 16, or 60 this cruise is fun for you!
