Chicago’s famous Pirates Pub Sail departs every Friday night at 9pm aboard Tall Ship Windy at Navy Pier. This is a two hour charter and returns to Navy Pier at 11:00pm. Your ticket includes complimentary water, soda and beer. Aboard the 148 foot Tall Ship Windy, you will enjoy the merriment of days of yore. You will be able to listen and sing to the traditional songs of the Pirates while enjoying the spectacular scenery that is the Chicago skyline and the wonderment of Lake Michigan. Chicago’s famous Pirates Pub Sail is an event that should not be missed.

We sailed on Tall Ship Windy Thursday August 1, 3pm. Being under full sail feels to me like floating on a cloud in a dream. The Captain, crew and ship, all made for a first class, enjoyable, amazing experience! My first time on this ship was 2 years ago- The sail this year was just as memorable. 5 stars! Highly recommend Tall Ship Windy Cruise!🤩

The trip was nothing like showed. No pirates hanging from rafters it was a few staff members wearing striped shirts. Instead of an interactive show it was a very boring story about the history of pirates. The staff seemed like they hated their jobs and were very unfriendly. If you have children under 42 inches don’t go on this trip at all. You are forced to stay in the section of the boat with no wind and the sides are way to high for kids to see over. With so many wonderful things to do in Chicago don’t waste your time with this!
