Joining Discover Richmond Tours means exploring Church Hill in a unique way. You will sample delicious food and snacks from up to 5 different restaurants, cafes, and bakeries, possibly including wood-fired pastries, classic Richmond comfort food, authentic Ethiopian Fare, and more! You’ll learn about the birthplace of Richmond and it’s heroes, and hear how our partner merchants got their start. But most of all, we’ll make sure you have fun doing it.

Be sure to bring water and comfortable shoes – we’ll be standing at most of our stops, and we’ll be in and out too quickly for water and other beverages to be served.

Went today with 10 friends on the church hill tour and loved it. Our tour guide Erin was terrific- beautiful neighborhood to walk around and the restaurants were all excellent! We all decided to do all the tours the company offers and I know those will be great too- perfect way to spend an afternoon- great job!

We had a great time and learned a lot about Richmond, Church Hill, and places to dine. We are relatively new to the RVA area, 2+ years, and this was a fun way to find some great eateries in a historical part of Richmond. We highly recommend trying a River City Food Tour when you are in Richmond. The Church Hill experience is a great option.

We had a fabulous time learning about Churchill, and about small restaurant gems that we would never had uncovered without our food tour. Despite miserable weather, Lindsay kept us entertained and moving, and tasting some of the most delicious and creative treats in Richmond. The six of us has a great time, and will definitely return to these food establishments in the future. We are already planning our next River City Food Tour.
