The tour by water around Manhattan is informative, and we had an excellent tour narrator today, but under no circumstances waste the money for the so called "premier package". It does not get you front of line privileges as advertised, or early boarding. Although you do have a reserved area on the upper deck, inside, there are an equal number of seats on the upper deck that are not in reserved seating. Access to the snack bar is easy. You don't kneed the waitress. BTW, they put everyone through a queue, where they have a snarky photographer taking pictures. They give you a load of hooey explanation that this is a "custom" of the line. We refused, and the photographer got snarky and nasty. I don't care, because I didn't want a picture, but my irritation is that they pressure you into this picture. You should be able to decline, without "the guilt trip". We would have enjoyed this, without the extra expense. Don't waste the money for the "Premier" package.

A great way to start our 5 day trip - to get our bearings and see some of the sights. Getting to the pier 40 minutes early meant there were no queues and plenty of seats on the deck. disappointed that we didn't do the full circuit of the island (as the tides were too high) - but we were warned this may happen. still a really good way to see the city.

Perfect views around Manhattan but old ship with uncomfortable seats and not very friendly comments from the guide.
