Take the 2.5 hours ride around the island. In winter take the priority seating (well, I would do it even in summer). You will see so much of NYC and so many aspects, you hear great info and stories so you have really an experience of a lifetime. I took the same ride about 30 years ago and it was again one of the very highlights of the whole NYC trip.

A great way to see the city from a different vantage point. It rained the day of our cruise, but it was comfortable inside the ship. We didn't get around the entire island because the tide was in and our ship was riding high because we weren't full, but it was still enjoyable. Our guide was terrific.

My family and I had a great time on the Manhattan Island cruise. Everyone we dealt with provided exceptional service. From the ticket scanner, to the photographer taking our picture, to the deck hands and the ladies running the snack bar, every single person went out of their way to make sure we had a great trip. It was an overcast day, and cold (mid-December who knew?) but we had a blast, we were comfortable, and I cannot say enough about Andy - our tour guide. He was knowledgeable, informative, timely, and more importantly his delivery was standup worthy. we learned a lot about the island and the people who live there and the people who built the city. We saw parts of the island most people would never think of. I highly recommend this tour!
