The tour guides were hit or miss...one seemed to just point out buildings' names in a monotone voice, which I could read myself, but failed to provide elaborating information on sites. Two others provided a much richer context and history for the sites, and one talked a lot about himself in a self-deprecating way, so I would say, it probably depends on your preference. Overall, it is a good value at $39 for the day and takes you to many popular sites and you get some good basic information about the sites. It was a little tough traveling with elderly on them, as lower level seats were often taken. I had to separate from my party and go up to upper level alone. If you don't need/want the basic tour information, the public transportation is quite good and easy to follow and you can buy fare online.

We had a few hours to burn in NOLA. Decided to do a quick tour for the limited time. Great way to see the city. Only bummer was we didn’t get close to the waterfront but it was easily accessible to walk if we had had the time. I recommend this tour.
