We loved the City Tour today. We appreciated the focus on safety-everyone was temped checked upon entry and we had to wear masks in adorable gift shop and on trolley. The guide Jon did a fantastic job today under some stress as the air conditioning stopped working. He handled things very well and we could tell they all went over and above to compensate for this unforseen situation. We loved it and learned so much about Sarasota's fascinating history and culture and will certainly be back for their other tours. Great time!

Literally nothing positive about this tour. Please save your money. First off, youā€™re locked in a trolley with no AC and no open windows. Must have been over 100 degrees. While Sarasota is a pretty city, honestly not that interesting of a history. You could pretty much drive around yourself and see all thatā€™s of interest. Go on Wikipedia and get the history. We do a lot of city tours all over the world and this was just sad.

I am sorry you had such a bad experience. Our air conditioning broke yesterday only the second time in two years but it was hot despite the driver's best efforts to open the doors. The windows by law cannot be opened in this trolley but can in all the other trolleys we use. As far as your statement that our history is not interesting I must disagree. Our city is called Circus City because of our unique and interesting Ringling Brothers circus history. We are the only city in the world where the Amish come to vacation enmasse- 5000 each season. We are the cultural center of Florida having been started as an arts colony boasting some of the most important writers, artists and entertainers who chose to live here. I encourage you to take one of our in-depth tours-Circus Secrets, Amish Experience or Public Art to see what hundreds of visitors and residents have found deeply entertaining and informative.

Tour guidĆ©s donā€™t wear or enforce masks. If that makes you uncomfortable, DO NOT BOOK. Who cares what you see if it comes with a virus? Plus, they overbook. Plus, no air conditioning. Really? Not for me.

I am sorry you did not enjoy the tour but this information is incorrect. We do enforce mask wearing in our shop and upon boarding. We do take everyone's temperature upon entry. That is what we are able to do per CDC guidelines and city requirements. We have been running tours since June with 0 issues. We had 30 seats sold on a 35 seat trolley today- 4 people walked up at last minute and that made the 30. We are now in high season so often there are last minute bookings but we never oversell--the system would not allow us to do that. We had sold 26 before they came running in but even with them there should have been 5 extra seats. We under book to allow more room for people of all sizes so I am not sure why you would say this unless you were taking extra seats for yourself. Our air conditioning did break today which was a shame. The trolley is now in the shop being repaired. There is nothing we could have done about this. On 99.9% of all tours, we have the air working just fine and it is very comfortable. Today it was not. I apologized for that issue today and offered a discount on any future tour right after the tour returned and I learned that it had been hot.
