Very interesting trip. Numerous items were presented that were new to us. the guide and the driver were very cordial and informative. It was a relaxed atmosphere but very informative. The temps on the trolley were regulated well and we were always comfortable during the tour. I will definitely consider other tours offered by this company.

I have lived in Sarasota for 17 years, but this tour showed me some of Sarasota I had never seen before and taught me many new things about the history of this area. I am looking forward to going on some of the other tours offered. There were two reasons I did not give this tour a 5. The bus's air condition did not work that day and while I realize that sometimes happens, it made the 90 minutes a bit warmer than we had expected. The other thing was we were not able to go St. Armand's circle due to lots of traffic. While I have been there many times, I had hoped to learn more about its history. And I felt badly for the majority of the people on the bus who were not local Sarasotans and missed a highlight of this city. Given that "in season" there is always lots of traffic on that bridge, it might be better to start the tour there earlier in the afternoon instead of leaving it at the end when there is always more traffic. Or, just eliminate if from this tour during season. With all that said, I highly recommend anyone taking this tour. Our guide, Jon MacDonald, was excellent. He shared so much during our 90 minutes and was enthusiastic the whole time. A very special part he shared was his own personal story about the Van Wezel. Sarasota has a lot to offer (locals or visitors) and this tour was a great way to show that.
