My husband and I took this tour on July 2, 2022. It was fantastic--full of information and very entertaining. We loved it and would highly recommend it to anyone. We have lived here for 5 years and learned so much. We would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to know about Sarasota's fascinating history and be thoroughly entertained at the same time. Our guide was Steve McAlphabet, who is a Sarasota native. Before the tour began, he took song requests and entertained us by playing the guitar and singing on the front porch of the Trolley Cottage. The Discover Sarasota Tours owner came out and gave us a very warm and friendly introduction before the tour began as well. The gift shop is full of all kinds of circus memorabilia, books about Sarasota, and cute gift items for all ages. There's nothing not to like about this tour.

This is probably the best way to see Sarasota to get to know the area. Our tour guide, Steve mixed in personal info with what we were seeing but that just added to the whole tour. Well worth the money. Plenty of parking and easy to find. There is also a neat vintage gift shop that is a must do. Very nice staff and TJ was an excellent driver. We plan to go again for one of their other tours as they seem to have quite a choice.
