Overview

A rare opportunity to see the ancient bond between man and bird. In a small group, you will interact with a variety of hawks, falcons and owls, learn their natural history and their differences, and see an unforgettable flying demonstration. The Beginners Experience culminates with a chance for you
to put on a glove and hold a trained falcon.

There is a licensed falconer who oversees and presents each experience. The birds engage only by their own will.

Walking with and being able to hold Goose the Falcon. Learning about how you must hunt and capture your own falcon.. Having too experience an owl 🦉 literally fly over your head and feel his wings graze your arms was magical. I loved and was Fascinated with the experience and Dianne was so knowledgeable and you could tell how much she loved what she was doing ..

What a great opportunity to learn about, meet, and interact with these birds of prey. Our guide and master falconer was exceptional. We were lucky to have a small group (4) so we each had lots of opportunities to interact with the birds. We did the combination class (beginner and intermediate).

I love falcons, so this was my chance to get up close and personal with a falcon. We got to hold a falcon and touch it ,also a hawk and owls too. And we got to go up in the mountains a little ways and Roger let a hawk loose, it was incredible to see it fly and it came very close to us. Very interesting. Also Not sure of name his female partner has been interested in Falcons since 9 at 12 became a Falconer. A great experience thank you. I suggest you get some merchandise, I would’ve loved to have a T-shirt or some memorabilia about the birds.
