Overview

A rare opportunity to see the ancient bond between man and bird. In a small group, you will interact with a variety of hawks, falcons and owls, learn their natural history and their differences, and see an unforgettable flying demonstration. The Beginners Experience culminates with a chance for you
to put on a glove and hold a trained falcon.

There is a licensed falconer who oversees and presents each experience. The birds engage only by their own will.

I cruise a lot and participate in a lot of excursions. I would recommend this Falconry experience over all of them. Staff was welcoming from the get go. And Deanna the presenter/guide was incredible. It was obvious that she loves her job. Deanna is knowledgeable and goes the extra mile to answer questions and make the experience super enjoyable. Plus, just getting the chance to meet Lance, Goose and the other birds is well worth the price of admission. I highly recommend this tour.

All I can say is WOW! We had a beautiful day filled with the falconers knowledge and their passion for these amazing birds! The birds you meet are very special, ranging from Peregian Falcons to Harrier Hawks. They are just amazing, intelligent and almost acrobatic in flight. You get up close and personal with them! Then you head to the mountain and enjoy a Hawk Walk while they fly in their element. It is one of the most incredible thing we have ever done with wildlife!

Fantastic educational experience. I would highly recommend it for everyone, but for especially children.
