Overview

A rare opportunity to see the ancient bond between man and bird. In a small group, you will interact with a variety of hawks, falcons and owls, learn their natural history and their differences, and see an unforgettable flying demonstration. The Beginners Experience culminates with a chance for you
to put on a glove and hold a trained falcon.

There is a licensed falconer who oversees and presents each experience. The birds engage only by their own will.

My favorite part of this is the hands on experience. Depending on which class you attend, you can work with the birds on a 1:1 basis with you, the trainer and the birds. This is my favorite part of the Hands on Falconry. Not only that, but every employee I have encountered goes above and beyond to make sure they provide the best customer service to not only me, but everyone in the classes. I highly recommend taking one of the many levels of classes they provide for Falconry.

We were not sure what to expect with this. We planned it for our 2 youngest boys as a surprise. It was amazing. Very informative and very hands on. The instructor was very nice and knowledgeable. Great with our kids. Answered all of our questions. The scenery was amazing as well. Seeing birds and interacting with them in that way was just a wonderful experience. It was a little pricy but worth every penny in my opinion. The staff were very helpful as well. Would do it again!!! Highly recommend this if you are in Colorado Springs.

We have done the Broadmoor falconry experience & love it! Deanna is so knowledgeable about the falcons, hawks & owls - gives a great presentation on the birds then takes you out for a live experience handling them. Do not miss this experience!
