Comb Jelly Bioluminescence Kayak Tour

Overview
In the cooler Florida months, bioluminescent Comb Jellies congregate in the protected waters of the Indian River Lagoon. Living in the most bio-diverse estuary in North America, Comb Jellies are clear, glob-like creatures that, despite their name, do not sting! So as you paddle the calm waters laced with mangroves and palm trees, you can catch and hold these gentle glowing creatures. They're right at your fingertips while having a safe, awe-inspiring kayak adventure with those who share your enthusiasm for new and unique experiences.

In addition to the stars, the myriad of protected wildlife around you, and the Comb Jelly’s bioluminescence, their “ribs” are lined with cilia that they use to propel themselves, so when you cast a flashlight on them just right, they’ll also refract a dynamic rainbow-y light show! They’re right at your fingertips while having a safe, awe-inspiring kayak adventure with those who share your enthusiasm for unique experiences.

Awesome night, 10/10! Nothing like we have ever done before. Perfect conditions, guides were great, and unbelievable sights between the bioluminescent jumping fish and water lighting up with every paddle/ splash.Plus it was so dark with just the stars in the sky, truly amazing :) kids loved netting the sting free jelly fish and with the clear kayaks it looked liked we were paddling over diamonds the water sparking under us. Would definitely recommend 👍People of all ages in our group of 24. Very well organized and safety big priority. Added bonus was our main guide ( began with D) was very knowledgeable about the science aspect of the bioluminescent plankton and cone jellyfish.

My son and I decided to take a kayaking trip while on vacation, when we came across a day away! I really wasn’t sure what to expect upon arrival, but then we were greeted by Brandi! A very knowledgeable and experienced guide! Keep in mind my 13 year old was with me, and he was skeptical! We chose the bioluminescent tour, and we were very excited! From the beginning she was very courteous and listened to all of our questions before heading out! A few minutes into the trip we developed some bad weather, but her and her boss were on top of it! We had to head back and after waiting for 20 minutes she explained either we could have a refund or wait the storm out a little longer! My son and I along with myome other patron decided waiting was the best and I’m so glad we did!! Brandi really knew her business, and she was very knowledgeable about the wildlife and area! We were able to see some almost neon colors, as well as plenty of other wildlife! We even seen a dolphin swimming with us! The space shuttle was set to launch the next day, so we were able to see the lights from the launch pad! I would definitely recommend this to anyone in the area and be sure to ask for Brandi! Thanks for an unforgettable trip!! De
