This tour is totally customizable – you choose the length of the tour, what time you want to be picked up, and what you want to see.

I love San Francisco and have spent 20 years studying and exploring the city. I’ll work with you to plan your tour so you can see the famous sites and the hidden gems other tours can't go to or don't know about. I’ve designed this to be the type of tour I would take if I visited San Francisco, but where you go is up to you. I make suggestions along the way, but how long you spend at any site is up to you. You're never rushed, and never have to wait for other people. It's all about you!

Plus, it's fun! In the convertible MINI Cooper, you see everything up close and personal as we drive along.

What To Expect

Coit Tower

See the murals and views the bay and Golden Gate Bridge. How much time you spend is up to you.

Painted Ladies

Call it Postcard Row, the Painted Ladies, or the Full House houses, everyone loves seeing this site in person. And if you want to get out and take a picture, you can. As with all locations, if you want to get out is up to you.

Presidio of San Francisco

Drive through this former Army base turned national park. Stop and see the Yoda statue if you want.

North Beach

Learn the history and culture of this neighborhood that is a favorite of locals and visitors alike.

Lombard Street

If the time is right and there isn't too much traffic (usually weekend and holiday afternoons) we drive down the famous crooked st. If we can't drive down, we can at least drive by, and get out for photos if you want to.

Chinatown

Drive through this neighborhood, and learn about its history and culture. As I talk about the architecture, you can look up an see it as we drive through in the convertible MINI Cooper.

Haight-Ashbury

Drive down the street made famous in the 1960's, and learn why the music and culture made resonated around the world.

Golden Gate Park

Drive through the park, see the museums and the Japanese Tea garden. Guests enjoy driving through and learning the history of this urban garden created on top of 1,017 acres of sand. If open, there is an opportunity to go into the observation tower of the DeYoung museum.

Twin Peaks

Experience a spectacular view of the entire city, the Bay, and if the weather is clear, bridges as far south as Silicon Valley and up near the wine country.

16 Avenue Tiled Steps

The 16th Ave Tiled steps are only part of what you can see. I can show you a lesser known but equally as impressive tiled staircase, and what these staircases looked like before they were transformed into this urban art piece.

Mission District

See Mission Dolores, the Mission Murals, and location of what may be the best burritos in city.

Just call Reed! You will not be sorry.... the cool effect of being in a convertible, the envious glances of those on big ugly tour buses and the ability to fit the car in tight spaces for perfect photo moments are only the background singers. The star of the show (outside of the city itself) is Reed! He is a fountain of knowledge and ensures you know that the tour is “all about YOU”. It is your tour to customize or you can leave it to Reed. I have been to SF many times but my sister had never been. He gave us a tour that covered all bases and left us both very very satisfied with the experience. You need Reed if you want to not just see but to experience San Francisco!

We hired Reed and his delightful Mini convertible as my wife and I wanted an intimate private tour of SF and a vineyard in Sonoma. From start to finish Reed was so professional, knowledgeable and passionate about his city. His personal notes on Russia Hill and other neighbourhoods, which he emailed me before we arrived were really helpful and provided some welcome insider knowledge on which coffee shops and restaurants to try. The small convertible mini is the perfect vehicle for getting about the city and allows you to see the whole picture and panorama when travelling. Reed was also able to provide plenty of blankets as believe me it can get pretty chilly in the rear seats with the hood down in overcast SF in July! We saw all the major sights and I’m sure more tourists took photos of us on Lombard St than of the street itself! I would not hesitate in recommending Reed and his tour should you be visiting SF.

We had such a great time with Reed....we learned so much about San Francisco..we took the 3 hour tour...we saw everything...the tour is so unique in Reed's mini cooper...people would stare....they were jealous....would highly recommend this tour
