As well, you'll be accompanied by a guide well-versed in the area History, Flora & Fauna and geologic formation of the Great lakes and Dune formations. Sleeping Bear is fantastic in and of itself, but having a guide to explain everything from the Native Tribes that once roamed the area, to the geologic forces that leave us with the Great Lakes we know today, greatly enhances ours guests visit to Sleeping Bear. Oh, and guests rave about our catered lunch. It's delicious!

Walking is required to access the vista at Empire Bluffs. The trail is designated as "Easy". Expect to walk 1.5 miles over a dirt and sand Trail.

A guided tour of Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore. Tour includes round trip transportation from Traverse City with snacks and drinks provided. Stops include an easy walk out to Empire Bluffs, Scenic Pierce Stocking Drive, Lake Michigan overlook, Glen Lke overlook, Sleeping Bear Dune overlook, Lunch on the beach in the village of Empire, Dune Climb, Historic Village of Glen Haven and Glen Arbor.

We just had the best tour (in a spotless mini van) that anybody could ask for from Matt Webster. He was extremely knowledgeable about the area and knew many many facts along with good perspective analogies. He made the day fun and fascinating. He accommodated all our needs and served a delicious lunch. We highly recommend him as well as his company!

We had a fabulous tour with Matt Webster. He was knowledgeable about the history, geography, flora and fauna. He was also entertaining with stories of local lore. I highly recommend this tour for anyone from singles to families.

Matt, our tour guide was fantastic and very knowledgeable, the bus was clean and inviting with the snacks and drinks that Matt provided for our trip. I'm rating this a 2-star because this company does not require masks or that passengers on the bus be vaccinated. There was a couple on our bus who were not vaccinated and put us all at risk, including the driver. We wore masks when we learned that the other 2 on the tour bus were not safe. I learned to not get on another such tour bus unless I know that people are safe and wearing masks. Please review your HIPPA understandings. HIPPA prevents a doctor or health care professional to maintain confidentiality. A private company such as yours MAY AND SHOULD REQUIRE MASKS for the safety and protection of your clients.

After consulting with the writer of this review, they have requested that the review be taken down due to the real source of contention being an overall concern in general about peoples refusal to get a Covid vaccine. It is not about our company, the guide nor the tour itself. For the record, we follow all recommendations and guidelines put out by the CDC and the MDHHS to mitigate the spread of the Covid-19 virus and its variants.
