We always wanted to check out the Daufuskie . We finally decided to book with Outside Hilton Head. Captain Pete was awesome. On the boat ride to the island he stopped and showed us sites along the way. Once on the island, he took us all around the island, and gave us the history. I highly recommend the tour.

We had a cold, cloudy November day for the tour, but Capt Pete thoughtfully managed the tour so we enjoyed the trip to Daufuskie very much. He has an extensive network of resources and knowledge about the island, its history, and even many of the locals. He tells the story of the Gullah people even into today's difficulties and life situations. This is an experience very different than the rest of our week on HHI. It enriched our stay and rewarded our time with an up-close look at the area's history.
