Overview

Your Deluxe Manatee Swim Tour provides a unique opportunity to view Florida's Nature Coast. CRWS is a proud member of the Save the Manatee Club Guardian Guide Program - promoting passive observation and responsible eco tourism. Your tour will take you past a state Archaeological Park, a State Nature Preserve and to a National Wildlife Refuge. You may view up to 57 varieties of birds, river otters, deer, pigs dolphins, a variety of fish and turtles besides the opportunity to swim in the area of the gentle giants manatees.

Very informative hosts and crew. Knowledgeable about the area, habitat and rescues of sick manatees. Great experience, enjoyed by all, young and old. Would also love to get everyone scuba certified here in the near future.

This area of Florida is a great place for it as the weather is good year round. We can do all of the training here, or you can get your confined water at home and we can do your Open water referral dives. Our staff do ongoing training to make sure we are knowledgeable, safe and hopefully fun. We very much appreciate your very kind review.

Saw and swam with many Manatees in the Crystal River/King's Bay. Watersports furnished us with wet suits, mask and snorkle. Preparation included viewing a video of proper etiquette around the Manatees. Captain Vince and "In Water" Person, Wendy guided our booat, the Spring Breeze, to an aggregation of Manatees where we anchored and entered the water. Manatees swam all around and underneath us. Thrilling. Wendy snapped lots of photos that were available for purchase following the tour for a very reasonable price. Watersports has a gift shop for souvenirs. Wendy and Vince continually informed the group about the area and the Manatees. Recommend this tour to everyone.

The manatees are always a delight, so calm, peaceful and charming. Wendy describes them as 1500 pound butterflies and that fits. For such huge mammals they are incredibly graceful and gentle. I took my wife and two sons on a manatee swim and it was an amazing experience!! The staff was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Loved their little store front and dock house too. We felt so welcome and comfortable even with covid going on. I would highly recommend.
