Your Deluxe Manatee Swim Tour provides a unique opportunity to view Florida's Nature Coast. CRWS is a proud member of the Save the Manatee Club Guardian Guide Program - promoting passive observation and responsible eco tourism. Your tour will take you past a state Archaeological Park, a State Nature Preserve and to a National Wildlife Refuge. You may view up to 57 varieties of birds, river otters, deer, pigs dolphins, a variety of fish and turtles besides the opportunity to swim in the area of the gentle giants manatees.

We researched a bunch of companies and ended up choosing this one, and we are so glad that we did! Thank you Mike, Captain John and Dakota. We ended up being the only ones on the boat which made for a VIP experience. They are knowledgeable and entertaining! Plus Covid ready, so we felt safe! While swimming with the Manatees, which is a magical experience, we never felt rushed and Dakota took great care to make sure that my girls and I felt safe. We have great photos and videos that will remind us of this once in a lifetime experience for years to come. Thank you so very much! We’ll be back!

We had a nice morning of snorkeling with Capt. Jim and Dakota. It was my wife, son, and I with another family of 3. So the 6 of us had the boat to ourselves. Dakota was very attentive, especially to the new snorkelers. It took a little while and a scenic boat ride but we found a nice area away from the crowd and ended up swimming with about 7 manatees.

Our guide (Dakota) and boat captain (Lauren) did a fantastic job of finding the perfect location where there were plenty of manatees and no other boats around. We even had a baby manatee playing with us and giving us all kisses. What an unforgettable experience!

Wow! You hit the jackpot! Manatee kisses are amazing- and especially since it is totally up to the manatees on what they want to do. Your group was obviously very well behaved and quiet in the water, as that is what manatees like best. As one of only two tour companies that have earned the Guardian Guide designation from the Save the Manatee Club, our tours stress that people NEVER initiate contact with the manatees. We simply float and observe them. But the amazing thing about the manatees is that they are very curious, and they are allowed to do whatever they want! Having a manatee give kisses is a unique and exceptional experience. There are only two people I know that get them on a regular basis- and they are Dakota, and one of our former Captain/guide. The manatees practically mug those two whenever they get in the water. :D Thank you so much for choosing Crystal River Watersports for your tour, and for taking the time to write such a wonderful review.
