Your Deluxe Manatee Swim Tour provides a unique opportunity to view Florida's Nature Coast. CRWS is a proud member of the Save the Manatee Club Guardian Guide Program - promoting passive observation and responsible eco tourism. Your tour will take you past a state Archaeological Park, a State Nature Preserve and to a National Wildlife Refuge. You may view up to 57 varieties of birds, river otters, deer, pigs dolphins, a variety of fish and turtles besides the opportunity to swim in the area of the gentle giants manatees.

Amazing. Better than expected. Dakota and John were funny, knowledgeable, caring and just great people. They made sure we enjoyed every moment even my 10 year old that Dakota held onto the whole time in the water. Saw lots of manatees. Took lots of photos. Loved every moment.

We had an AMAZING time! I wasn’t sure how our young kids would handle the water temp or the manatees but they had the best morning ever! Vince and Adrienne made us all at ease and we all had a great time. The kids did get cold earlier than my husband and I, but Adrienne escorted them back to the boat and Vince gave them hot chocolate and they were happy as could be when we made our way back. Perfect trip all around, kid friendly for sure. We will be back!

Hi Jennifer, We are thrilled that you and your family had a great tour. Our captains and guides think they have the best job in the world, and are always thrilled to share the experience with our guests. The water is always 72F/22C- so while not cold, it gets chilly after a bit. The wetsuits really help to keep you warm, and help keep your buoyant as well. Guests are always welcome to get in and out of the water at will, and we often will have tours where some family members to choose to swim/snorkel while one or two may choose to stay on the boat and observe the fun from there. Went on our first Manatee Swim after living in Crystal River for 4 years. Brought our son, daugher-in-law and grandson along. What a great time we had! Captain Jim, and our guide John were super and really helped guide us in the way to look for Manatees, how to interact safely with them and then enjoy the beautiful day and crystal clear waters. We even saw several dolphins come in looking for their lunch as well but with all of the people in the water and kayaks, they high tailed it out of our area. I totally and completely recommend Crystal River Watersports for your tour. And Captain Jim and John our guide will make your visit that much better!
