Your Deluxe Manatee Swim Tour provides a unique opportunity to view Florida's Nature Coast. CRWS is a proud member of the Save the Manatee Club Guardian Guide Program - promoting passive observation and responsible eco tourism. Your tour will take you past a state Archaeological Park, a State Nature Preserve and to a National Wildlife Refuge. You may view up to 57 varieties of birds, river otters, deer, pigs dolphins, a variety of fish and turtles besides the opportunity to swim in the area of the gentle giants manatees.

Dakota & Capt Lauren were absolutely amazing on our trip today! Because of Covid, all tours are private, which meant that my husband and I were the only two and were able to swim comfortably with the manatees! We even saw a momma nursing her baby, such an experience! Make sure you request them for your tour and rent their full face masks! In 2021 , due to Covid, we are offering both private and semi-private tours to accommodate different needs. We do offer full face masks for rental, as well as boat coats if guests would like to use them. We came to crystal river at the very start of manatee season, so there were not tons of manatees to see yet, but our guides were very persistent on getting us into the water with manatees. We had an extended encounter with one that made the whole thing worth it. Was absolutely amazing to be in the water with this big, gentle creature. Our guides were very nice and personable. Made sure everyone felt comfortable and at ease. They took lots of pictures for us to look through and potentially purchase at the end. Would definitely recommend to others!

Depending on the time of year and temperature, the number of manatees that we may see can vary significantly. However, as you mention, even snorkeling with one can be an amazing experience. These gentle giants are so graceful, sweet and unique creatures. People experience seeing them in their element and fall in love.
