Your Deluxe Manatee Swim Tour provides a unique opportunity to view Florida's Nature Coast. CRWS is a proud member of the Save the Manatee Club Guardian Guide Program - promoting passive observation and responsible eco tourism. Your tour will take you past a state Archaeological Park, a State Nature Preserve and to a National Wildlife Refuge. You may view up to 57 varieties of birds, river otters, deer, pigs dolphins, a variety of fish and turtles besides the opportunity to swim in the area of the gentle giants manatees.

We traveled to FL from RI for a wedding and decided this was a must! After researching that the manatees gather there mostly during the cold weather, we were a LITTLE nervous we wouldn't be able to see any, never mind swim with them. Casey was amazing; checking with his contacts to see if there were sitings in the area and finding us a mom and baby(who we watched from the boat) and then putting us in the area next to a couple different ones to swim with! Christy was so knowledable, giving us background information on the area and animals, as well as guiding us around the animals and showing the springs. She was a wonderful guide. We couldn't have asked for a better experience!

Hi, We are so happy that you enjoyed your tour, and enjoyed the experience of swimming with the manatees. Kings Bay has a number of new calves and the tour companies try hard to give the new mothers and calves several months to bond before we swim with them. The tiny ones are especially adorable, aren't they? After a few months, the calves are a bit more adventurous, and they are often the manatees that might want to check out visitors if they observe passive observation and just float quietly in the water. You and your group obviously paid attention to the briefing- and that normally pays off with having a great experience where you can see the manatees doing what they do- and possibly have them approach for an encounter. We went in May 2019. It was off season but they, in great spirits, found a few manatee and got us in the water with them.

I really recommend to have fun in crystalriverwatersport.com. They gave us a personal and educational tour while swimming with the manatee. It was an awesome experience you will have a good time with family. Vince and Don excellent and friendly tour guiders.

Thank you so much for the review! Vince and Don do a great job, and are both a treasure house of knowledge about the manatees and the area. Our shop is part of the Guardian Guide program with Save the Manatee Club, and a part of that entails making the tour educational as well as fun. We also collect voluntary donations that are used to help protect and preserve the manatees, King's Bay and other parts of the eco-system, and all of our employees volunteer their time and efforts in things like manatee rescues, water clean up, eel grass planting, ongoing education and other environmentally friendly efforts in the area.
