Overview

Your Deluxe Manatee Swim Tour provides a unique opportunity to view Florida's Nature Coast. CRWS is a proud member of the Save the Manatee Club Guardian Guide Program - promoting passive observation and responsible eco tourism. Your tour will take you past a state Archaeological Park, a State Nature Preserve and to a National Wildlife Refuge. You may view up to 57 varieties of birds, river otters, deer, pigs dolphins, a variety of fish and turtles besides the opportunity to swim in the area of the gentle giants manatees.

Bring clothes to put on once done swimming that may get wet, but will keep you comfortable for the return boat ride.

We had a lovely trip for the family, hosted by Captain Bob and Dakota. We swam with a mother and her pup and the crew were very respectful of these lovely animals. We were taken to a sink hole - but sadly too deep for us to see, however we enjoyed our snorkle. Thanks guys for the great trip, lots of information, taking care of us, and letting us experience the wonder of swimming with Manatee! Oh and Dakota took quite a few good pictures and video's of us whilst we swam.

We had booked a tour for swimming with manatees. The tour and the guides exceeded our expectation. We went swimming with the manatees up close and afterwards in the crystal clear part of the river. Both parents and teens loved it.

We took our children, ages 11 and 8, who had never snorkeled before. When we arrived at 7:30 am they were having a terrible storm, so I was worried our tour would be canceled. But after a little delay, we were able to get going. I appreciated their flexibility with time. We had Alyssa for a tour guide and Jim for the boat captain. They were both very nice and knowledgeable. They answered many questions from my son, and explained things very well. Since it was summer, there weren't as many manatees around (which I knew going in), but they were persistent in finding some, and they even showed us an extra spot with fish. They were extremely careful and respectful of the manatees and other creatures. Plus, the boat ride was beautiful. It was wonderful and I definitely recommend it and would do it again. We got the picture package and it was worth it to have our guide take pictures and not have to worry about it. She took great ones!
