We took a tour that could have turned into a Gilligan's Island tour. But, it did not, thanks to the experience of Brad, our guide. After going out into the wilderness, we were having a great time when disaster struck. The Pinzgtuer rolled off the rim on the right front tire. Rather than let that bother him, Brad maneuvered us back to a place where we could board a 4-wheel drive vehicle that took us back to the staging area. Disappointed that we did not see any wildlife, but I guess hunting season had just started. If I were wildlife, I would make myself scarce. Everyone involved was courteous and helpful. If we ever make it back to Alaska, we will take another tour.

Thanks for taking the time to share your experience! It is awesome to hear you had a wonderful time and that you found our guides to be experienced and professional even when things may not go according to plan. We do hope you make it back to Alaska and would be honored to have you as a guest again. Maybe this time in the winter for an Aurora tour! Take care and thank you again!

We got lucky with a nice clear day the morning of our excursion. We were picked up by a great driver at our hotel. We drove for about 30 minutes with interesting conversation about our the area but we got to base camp. Here we switched to the all wheel drive Jeep that took us backcountry. The path was filled with water and dirt making for a real adventure. We were lucky to see moose during our ride and found out about the history of the area and the magic school bus. Once the ride was done they had fresh blueberry muffins and coffee. All and all a great few hours in Denali. My one comment to those choosing this tour, it does not take you into the park but around the outskirts. This didn’t matter to my family but it is something you should be aware of.

This tour was a lot of fun and different from most tours I have taken before. I have done a few family cruises and everywhere we go there are ATV tours but finding a European Military truck tour was AWESOME! Fun to get in the wild of Alaska and learn about the environment and way of life. I also got to go out and pick blueberries on the Tundra with our guide Jordan. Definitely would recommend for those looking to get away from everything and enjoy the wild of Alaska. We also saw 4 moose and a fox on the trip. Definitely worth it!

Greetings! I will pass your kind words on to Jordan. As you commented, we pride ourselves in the fact that our tour is unique for not just its location but because of the vehicle. We drive, so you can focus on seeing and enjoying the myriad of sights the Alaskan Backcountry has to offer. Thank you for the review.
