Our photo guides are expert photographers and light-wranglers; they will be your location scout, driver, and instructor – seeking out the best locations and the most dramatic lighting in real time. Guides provide individualized instruction so you can hone your skills as you capture beautiful images that will last a lifetime. Our guide was a professional photographer. He asked us what we wanted to get out of our session and he didn’t disappoint us. We were mostly interested in finding wildlife (in particular a moose). He took us to areas that had potential for sitings. We saw Trumpeter Swans and after finally, on our last stop, a Moose Cow and her yearling. It was so exciting! Thank you, John Robertson.

My husband and I did the sunset tour with John Robertson. We are both experienced photographers, but found John extremely helpful. He took us places we would not have found by ourselves. He went above and beyond to make sure everyone got good images. Could certainly recommend John.

The trip was very enjoyable, and the time went quickly (we even got back late). Two of us in the car used cell phones and two used DSLRs. Paul was very knowledgeable and fielded questions on composition and camera settings from all of us. Unfortunately, the weather did not cooperate as the rain started shortly after we were picked up, but that is Alaska for you (and if you only go out in perfect weather, you miss out on a lot of opportunity!). I got some good pictures and learned a lot. Would have been even better if Mother Nature decided to cooperate but it was still time very well spent and glad I did it! Paul - if you see this, thank you very much!
