I learned so much on how to take awesome pictures with just my iPhone. Settings and how to plan a picture for the best result. Todd W, my guide, was patient and so friendly. Put me right at ease because I went alone on the tour

Todd Whetstine is an excellent guide as adept with high end Nikon equipment as he is with I-phones. My husband and I both gained valuable information.

I am an intermediate to advanced photographer. I was looking for some nice spots to photograph landscapes and gain some knowledge from a professional photographer with good experience shooting the Alaskan landscape. What I got was a recent college graduate who shoots weddings. The other two people on the excursion were beginnners, one of whom did not even know how to use her camera. Most of the "pro's" time was spent trying to figure out this camera, I was able to get some good shots but the "pro" provided no insight. What a waste of $200!

We are very sorry to hear that you were disappointed with your experience on our tour. We require a unique and specific skillset from all of our guides, which can be difficult to find and therefore we have a very small team. This year has been challenging and we have been understaffed as a result of guides coming down with Covid and having immune-compromised guides unable to work. We have expanded our team with talented and capable individuals mid-season, which forced us to condense our standard training. We are fully confident in the ability and skill of all of our guides and we apologize that you were not satisfied with your experience, it is not reflective of the standard of our tours and we will do more to ensure a standard of quality across all tour experiences.
