What To Expect

The Dinner Detective

At The Dinner Detective, you’ll tackle a hilarious and challenging crime while you feast on a fantastic dinner. Just beware! The culprit is hiding in plain sight somewhere in the room, and you may find yourself as a Prime Suspect before you know it! Our engaging and unique murder mystery dinner theatre performances have been playing across the country since 2004. Our show is very different from traditional murder mystery dinner shows. We will hide non-costumed actors in the audience that are pretending to be part of the crowd. This results in a much more social and interactive evening than with other shows. Our shows are set during the present day and take place in real time. Over the course of the night, our costumed Detectives will uncover clues, interrogate audience members that may or may not be part of the show, and help everyone get closer to solving the mystery.

I want my evening back. We were crowded elbow to elbow at banquet tables with ten people. The food was cafeteria level and cold. The “performance” went on for three hours and it felt like it consisted of two women flouncing around and clues that made so sense with the flouncing. I want my money and my evening back.

Very confusing and unclear instruction. Not well planned out as fast as the table clue cards on the tables and difficult to draw parallels from the digital clues and the acting.

This was a fun night. Got to meet some nice people. The show was fun, exciting and funny. The food was good. I would do something like this again. My only thing i wish was stated was where to meet the host as the show was in a hotel. Enjoy the interactive show as everyone in the room is a part of the show including yourself.
