The procedures needed to be followed for entrance into the park and the rides. Reservations needed to be made ahead of time for entrance into the park which were supposed to be limited to avoid overcrowding. I don't think the experience of walking through crowds without bumping into each other which looked like a colony of ants showed reservations were limited. The lightning line was supposed to be limited to certain time slots and for the Haunted Mansion it was overrun with lightening ticket holders. When we lined up for entrance into the Haunted Mansion the sign read 2 hour wait. we stood in line for over 2 1/2 hours when all of a sudden the lightening line flooded the place. We turned around and left.
The restaurants had long lines and tables outdoors were filthy and not wiped off for each guest and food and trays overflowed on the wastebaskets.
Prices are way out of line! We stayed at the Paradise Pier which I would not call a park hotel as you had to cross a busy highway to get to Disneyland. Our hotel was being remodeled and so you had to walk all the way around the hotel and there was not a monorail to ride from the hotel nor directions to Disneyland. We heard many people complaining that the crowds were crazy.
If you call standing in long lines, walking through crowds, not being able to get on a ride within 3 hours time, difficult app to use, dirty restrooms, dirty tables, not enough benches, waiting for mediocre food is the Happiest Place on Earth....then be my guest! You could not pay me to go again! I have been to Disney World many moons ago and we had fun! Get rid of the stupid app so guests can enjoy themselves and stick to protocol on the number of guests allowed into the park!
