Dog Sledding and Mushing Experience in North Pole

Overview

Enjoy a truly Alaskan experience in the famous North Pole Alaska on a 30 minute dog sledding adventure. This ride includes informative commentary from your local guide as you glide through the snow covered forest. You will be seated in the dog sled as the team of Alaskan Huskies whisk you down the trails. Your guide will be standing on the back of the sled driving the team by voice commands. You will have a short stop during your adventure to meet your team of Alaskan Huskies and take pictures. All outer layers of winter clothing are included.

This was a fabulous experience! They outfit you in everything you need to stay warm. All the staff at Rods were friendly and helpful. Our musher Steve was GREAT!! He was knowledgeable, personable, professional and a true delight to interact with. We learned so much during our time with him. And the dogs are amazing athletes. We highly recommend Rods Alaskan Guide Service and plan to return for a Northern Lights experience. Thank you all for a great time!!!

I had an amazing experience here! I had only been in Fairbanks for four hours when I arrived here and this was the perfect way to begin my trip! I felt so welcome walking into their lobby as I was greeted by their human and furry staff members. I was accommodated immediately even though I was an hour early. They got me on an earlier tour so I wouldn't have to wait long. My dog sled guide was Steve was excellent! I enjoyed learning about his beautiful dogs, his journey here from a big city in Indiana, and dog racing. His calm voice and the beautiful scenery added to this experience. I was very happy that we stopped half way and I got to meet the dogs and take pictures. My only regret is that I didn't take the longer tour as I didn't because I was snowmobiling afterwards and thought I would be cold taking two long tours. I wasn't cold at all! This was an amazing experience that I recommend anyone to do, especially at this company. Their staff made me feel like we were old friends and the building and bathrooms were very clean. I can't wait to come back next year!
