What To Expect

This Brewery Tour is hosted by a Certified Cicerone, a recognized expert when it comes to beer. As your guide takes you to each brewery, you'll do more than just drink. You'll learn about the brewing process, the ingredients and the history of beer while you discover some of the best breweries Asheville has to offer. At each stop on the brewery tour, you will enjoy three to four six ounce samples of beer. It is highly recommended that you eat a substantial meal before the tour and take smaller samples if you feel like you've had enough alcohol. In between breweries, your guide will tell you about the history of Asheville and how it came to be the beautiful city it is today. Feel free to ask questions at any point during the tour. Great walking tour! The guide was incredibly knowledgeable and accessible - he walked the group through the making and tasting of beer in detail and dropped in fun facts about Asheville on our way between breweries. Highly recommended, especially for being about $10 cheaper than any other tours in town.

This was a great private tour of downtown Asheville and several of its breweries. The structure and organization was amazing. Everyone had an awesome time, plus you get to taste a great deal of delicious beers!

I've been on several brew tours. Cliff's is the first that I would make it a point to return to. He's very knowledgeable about the beer making process, and explained it in a concise and clear way. The town tour itself was enjoyable. Asheville is hilly though! Cliff is extremely personable and ideal for a tour. I wouldn't mind hanging out and having a beer with the guy. The tour made for a great afternoon.
