We took the Saturday tour with Cliff this past weekend and it was amazing! Cliff was a fantastic tour guide filling us in on some Asheville history and of course all things beer and brewing. Cliff is very knowledgeable about beer and the brew scene in Asheville. I didn't know a lot about the brewing process going in to the tour but I can say I did learn a lot. Cliff kept the tour fun and was very personable. Each of the the breweries were great and had their own flare! I look forward to returning and revisiting the breweries. I highly recommend this tour for all beer enthusiast. This was such a fun experience!

My husband and I (along with a pair of friends) took the Saturday tour with Cliff in November and it was beyond compare. Cliff is THE man about all things beer - and has the certification to prove it - and our time on the tour was so educational - - seriously! While I enjoy beer a lot, I came into the tour with minimal knowledge about varieties, the process, etc. Cut to 3 hours later, and I feel like I have such a good grasp on the basics, which is exactly what I was looking for (however, if you already know a fair amount about beer, you will definitely still be able to learn more -- you can get as much education as you want out of this tour). Cliff definitely takes the time to answer all of your questions and was funny and personable, to boot. Additionally, he imparts you with some interesting tid-bits about the history of Asheville throughout your tour, which we really enjoyed as well. Last, the breweries we visited were fantastic and each had their own unique personality, which is a wonderful reflection of the thought and energy that Cliff puts into his tours. I cannot say enough good things about this tour and absolutely recommend that you experience it for yourself!

Cliff really knows his stuff. My wife and I enjoyed tasting different types of beer but we enjoyed learning about how the beer is made and the history of downtown Asheville even more. Cliff knows all of the folks at the breweries and has work with / for many of them. We had a group of 12 and it was very top notch!
