What To Expect

BREW-ed

This Brewery Tour is hosted by a Certified Cicerone, a recognized expert when it comes to beer. As your guide takes you to each brewery, you'll do more than just drink. You'll learn about the brewing process, the ingredients and the history of beer while you discover some of the best breweries Asheville has to offer. At each stop on the brewery tour, you will enjoy three to four six ounce samples of beer. It is highly recommended that you eat a substantial meal before the tour and take smaller samples if you feel like you've had enough alcohol. In between breweries, your guide will tell you about the history of Asheville and how it came to be the beautiful city it is today. Feel free to ask questions at any point during the tour. This was a really fun and informative tour. We learned a lot about beer and the history of Asheville, We did the Saturday tour at 11:30 on 8/25/18 and definitely got our money's worth. Cliff was a great guide and obviously knows his stuff. Don't hesitate to book this tour-you can't go wrong with this one!

We highly recommend the downtown Asheville brewery walking tour. We did the 11:30 AM Saturday morning tour and visited Hi Wire Brewery and Bhramina. We had samples of beer at each location, learned about beer tasting, and how beer is made. The tour host is incredibly knowledgeable about beer and the Asheville area in general.

The tour was a ton of fun. It was nice that we did the deep dive on the brewing process in one brewery, and then just really discussed beer types and process differences in the other sites. Lots of samples were available and the host was fun, informative, and funny. Even my wife who doesn't really care for beer enjoyed the trip and had a few samples that she actually liked.
