The bar has been set!! I apologize, I can't think of the tour guides name but it doesn't really matter. It's just him and clearly it's his passion. He is very knowledgeable about the industry as a whole and locally. It was a small group of six. I went on a Friday afternoon with a buddy. We started with a tour of Asheville Brewing Co. During the tour, the brewery process was discussed as well as the malting process. At each brewery we sampled beer and discussed the flavor of each. He also has his history of Asheville down. As we walked from one brewery to another he talked about the history of Asheville and how it became what it is today. I would not hesitate to recommend this tour to anyone visiting Asheville, including those people that are not beer or brewery enthusiasts. A+ You will not be disappointed!

My husband and I took this tour on a Sunday afternoon and it was time well spent. Our particular tour lasted almost 3 1/2 hours and we had so much fun! If you've ever taken a beer tour and feel like you didn't get your money's worth, that won't be a problem with BREW-ed. PLENTY of beer! And Cliff is extremely knowledgeable. I am a very, very amateur home brewer and he was able to give me tips on how to make a better beer. Lots of beer information, plenty of Asheville information and a very pleasant afternoon. I HIGHLY recommend this tour!

My wife s d I were in Asheville partly for vacation and partly to visit colleges with our daughters. With some free time on Saturday afternoon we signed on for the beer tour. Weā€™ve done a number of these in other cities, it is a common part of our trips, and without a doubt, the Brew-Ed tour was the best weā€™ve ever experienced. Not only wax our guide knowledgeable, but extremely funny and entertaining. Our group turned out to be a great mix of people and just a good time to be with. We visited 3 local breweries down on the South Slope and tasted at least 10 different beers overall. Each was picked to provide a variety of styles and to highlight each brewerā€™s best beer. This tour was WELL WORTH the money and highly recommended!
