The Brew-Ed brewery tour was one of the highlights of our time in Asheville, NC. This was much more than just someone showing us where to get a good beer in Asheville (that's very easy). Greg is highly qualified and has extensive knowledge of all things beer, cider, wine, ok anything to do with alcohol. From the history of beer (and why it is so good for me, take note, wife) to detailed descriptions for the key ingredients and the whole beer creation process. I highly recommend this tour for anyone who has an interest in not only tasting beers, but in understanding the creative process behind the amazing array of beers to be found in Asheville. Well done, Greg. Thank you. Andy Ellett

We took the Friday afternoon tour and it was lots of fun. Our guide (pictured above, but sadly can't remember his name...too much beer maybe?) was very informative about beer. We tasted at three locations, Asheville Brewing Company, Twin Leaf, and Catawba and they were all varied. I would recommend it to anyone wanting to learn more about beer and how it can be made in different ways. Not too much walking for those who don't like to walk.
