What To Expect

This Brewery Tour is hosted by a Certified Cicerone, a recognized expert when it comes to beer. As your guide takes you to each brewery, you'll do more than just drink. You'll learn about the brewing process, the ingredients and the history of beer while you discover some of the best breweries Asheville has to offer. At each stop on the brewery tour, you will enjoy three to four six ounce samples of beer. It is highly recommended that you eat a substantial meal before the tour and take smaller samples if you feel like you've had enough alcohol. In between breweries, your guide will tell you about the history of Asheville and how it came to be the beautiful city it is today. Feel free to ask questions at any point during the tour. Each brewery on this tour offers several beers to taste, and their pours are all very generous. The -ED part of the tour is amazing--Cliff educates you in every aspect of the brewing process, the marketing process, as well as the history. We much preferred this walking tour to riding a bus, van or pubcycle. It is hard to imagine someone not liking this tour (--even if you don't like beer, it's very interesting).

We did the 3 hour small group brewery tour in downtown Asheville. We had a great time. Not only did we learn about beer, but we also learned a lot about the history of Asheville.

This tour is by far the best brewery tour I’ve been a part of. Excellent mix of Asheville history and beer knowledge! This guy knows more about beer than I knew was possible to know! Extremely approachable and interactive experience as well. I can’t think of a better way to experience some of the craft breweries in Asheville. Why only go to one when you can go to three and learn and taste more!? Would definetly go on a another tour with this company. 6/5 would recommend
