What To Expect

BREW-ed

This Brewery Tour is hosted by a Certified Cicerone, a recognized expert when it comes to beer. As your guide takes you to each brewery, you'll do more than just drink. You'll learn about the brewing process, the ingredients and the history of beer while you discover some of the best breweries Asheville has to offer. At each stop on the brewery tour, you will enjoy three to four six ounce samples of beer. It is highly recommended that you eat a substantial meal before the tour and take smaller samples if you feel like you've had enough alcohol. In between breweries, your guide will tell you about the history of Asheville and how it came to be the beautiful city it is today. Feel free to ask questions at any point during the tour. Cliff did a great job of adding educational and interesting facts about the brewing process and Asheville all while allowing for plenty of opportunities to sample some great local beers. I would recommend it to everyone interested in a few hours around town with a desire to learn about the brews you get to drink. I would be more than willing to take one of the tours again.

Overall the experience was good and the tour guide was very informative. We had such a great experience trying different local brewed beers. Also, it was more of a social bonding with other members in the tour over some great beers. A more insight into the Asheville history would have been of great additional advantage.

This was our favorite part of Asheville!! Our extremely well prepared guide provided an education in brewing beer as well as some history of the city. If you love beer, don’t miss this tour!
