What To Expect

BREW-ed

This Brewery Tour is hosted by a Certified Cicerone, a recognized expert when it comes to beer. As your guide takes you to each brewery, you'll do more than just drink. You'll learn about the brewing process, the ingredients and the history of beer while you discover some of the best breweries Asheville has to offer. At each stop on the brewery tour, you will enjoy three to four six ounce samples of beer. It is highly recommended that you eat a substantial meal before the tour and take smaller samples if you feel like you've had enough alcohol. In between breweries, your guide will tell you about the history of Asheville and how it came to be the beautiful city it is today. Feel free to ask questions at any point during the tour. My friend and I went on this tour a little over a week ago and we loved it! Cliff is very informative and is truly an expert on beer. We learned about not only the brewing process, but some history about Asheville. Also a TON of beer is included with the tastings!

We had a great time on the Brew-Ed tour this past weekend when we were in town for a wedding. Cliff was a great tour guide and you could tell his passion for beer education is real. All of the breweries we toured were unique and the beer selections were great! Would highly recommend to anyone looking for something fun to do in the downtown Asheville area!

This was by far one of the best things I’ve ever done in Asheville. The tour was fun, the guide was knowledgeable and funny, and the beer was delicious. Great way to visit a few of Asheville’s best breweries in a few hours. Would definitely do another tour and highly recommend this to anyone who is local or visiting!
