What To Expect

BREW-ed

This Brewery Tour is hosted by a Certified Cicerone, a recognized expert when it comes to beer. As your guide takes you to each brewery, you'll do more than just drink. You'll learn about the brewing process, the ingredients and the history of beer while you discover some of the best breweries Asheville has to offer. At each stop on the brewery tour, you will enjoy three to four six ounce samples of beer. It is highly recommended that you eat a substantial meal before the tour and take smaller samples if you feel like you've had enough alcohol. In between breweries, your guide will tell you about the history of Asheville and how it came to be the beautiful city it is today. Feel free to ask questions at any point during the tour. We had a wonderful time!Well-behaved dogs in tow we set out for a wonderful and informative tour with our entire family. This tour gives you incredible info on beer tasting and distinguishing brews. Our informative guide was incredible. She had many accolades including beer judge and had passed beer brewing and tasting exams. She could answer every question. We tasted quite a few beers and shared impressions. This tour was a real look into the beer industry and craft beers. Great for everyone, except minors! This wonderful guide made the tour.

My wife and I had an excellent experience on the tour. Cliff was incredibly knowledgeable and we learned a ton about brewing beer and Asheville itself. I could not rate the tour any higher and would recommend it to anyone visiting Asheville.

My husband and I enjoyed the tour so much. We learned a lot about the brewing process. We sampled a good number of beers and definitely got me at least to try beers way out of my comfort zone. It was also a plus to learn a little bit about the history of Asheville while on the tour. This was my first time to Asheville but my husband has been several times. He has been to several of the breweries in town but still enjoyed the tour.
