Having no idea what a Cicerone was, I was very impressed by the depth of knowledge Cliff imparted. He was also very likeable! I learned a great deal about brewing and the idiosyncrasies of beer styles. We also enjoyed some of the unique history of Asheville. The walking was easy, the stops were all worthwhile, and I would highly recommend the tour.

The guide, Greg, is the most knowledgeable person on beer I have ever met. We were at two breweries and sampled some 10 different varieties. Greg explains everything about the art and the business of brewing craft beer. I would recommend this tour.

My husband and I traveled to Asheville for our 11th anniversary and decided to sign up for the Brew-Ed tour. We had read reviews prior to booking and everyone claimed this was the best brew tour to take. We weren't disappointed, this guy really knows his stuff! We visited three breweries (High Wire, Catawba, and Green Man), he gave an in depth description of the brewing process, we sampled around ten beers, and he gave us some Asheville history along the way. Well worth it! Just make sure you eat a meal before you go!!! Would do again!
