What To Expect

BREW-ed

This Brewery Tour is hosted by a Certified Cicerone, a recognized expert when it comes to beer. As your guide takes you to each brewery, you'll do more than just drink. You'll learn about the brewing process, the ingredients and the history of beer while you discover some of the best breweries Asheville has to offer. At each stop on the brewery tour, you will enjoy three to four six ounce samples of beer. It is highly recommended that you eat a substantial meal before the tour and take smaller samples if you feel like you've had enough alcohol. In between breweries, your guide will tell you about the history of Asheville and how it came to be the beautiful city it is today. Feel free to ask questions at any point during the tour. Great tour. We had the afternoon tour on Sunday. Learned a ton about Asheville, the brew houses and the brewing process. Small group made it even more enjoyable.

This was a great tour. I learned so much about the brewing process, local history and current info on why Asheville is such a hotspot for craft beer breweries. Cliff was a wealth of information and could answer question (except his favorite beer). :-) The walk is fairly short and not far from the downtown area. Plenty of beer to taste and it was all really good. Gained a real appreciation for a wide variety of local beers. We visited Hi Wire, Catawba and Green Man breweries.

A recently married couple from Jacksonville, Fl taking a last minute road trip to Asheville...this was the perfect way to start the weekend! We did the 2 hour tour on a Saturday. Cliff was full of so much knowledge about brewing and the history of Asheville for someone who isn't a native to the area. Would highly recommend this tour and look forward to coming back to Asheville and trying the 3 hour brew tour!! 👍👍 all the way!
