Cliff knows beer, and will help you learn all about the local Asheville breweries. You get to see several different breweries (3 total) and learn what a "big" micro-brewery is like compared to a small, nano-brewery. We tasted a variety of beers at each brewery and learned all about the different brews. Highly recommend.

I did one of the private tours with my wife and two friends, and we had a fantastic time. Cliff was extremely knowledgable, not just for talking about brewing and the uniqueness of the different breweries we visited, but for the two of us in our group who are longtime brewers, his knowledge was very extensive and engaging at all levels. While Cliff's knowledge of beer and brewing was a fantastic part of the experience, I personally enjoyed learning some of the esoteric history of Asheville as we walked between breweries as much as I did the breweries themselves. Overall a fantastic afternoon and highly recommended.

Cliff, the tour guide, and the entire tour experience was EXCELLENT!! I highly recommend anyone to go on the BREW-ed brewery tour if you want to learn more about how beer is made, the different types of beer, and check out some of Asheville's coolest breweries.
