I gave my husband this tour for Valentines Day because he's an avid home brewer. I think I enjoyed it as much as he did, and I am not normally into things like organized, informative, beer drinking. Cliff was enormously informative but also very entertaining. He is an expert on all things beer and also on Asheville history both textbook and eclectic. The breweries represented all provided sufficient samples that you were able to taste the different aspects of the brews and understand the differences as Cliff explained them. You were also able to understand the differences between the samples provided by the different breweries based upon how they brew differently as well. Very much a valuable and FUN learning experience! So glad we did this. We highly recommend it to anyone interested in the history or drinking of beer.

I've been on several brewery tours, but Cliff is on another level. He is an absolute expert on all things beer and extremely knowledgeable of Asheville's history. If you have any interest in beer tasting, production, history, in Asheville or anywhere in the world, you owe it to yourself to take a Brew-Ed tour. Well worth the money and highly recommended.

Cliff took us on a three hour tour we'd love to book again. No danger of going off course with Cliff, he's known well in the area. He explained not only the growing industry in Asheville, but how beer is brewed by these small craft brewers and how my beer gets from the field to my glass. My husband peppered him with questions that Cliff very patiently answered.
