What To Expect

This Brewery Tour is hosted by a Certified Cicerone, a recognized expert when it comes to beer. As your guide takes you to each brewery, you'll do more than just drink. You'll learn about the brewing process, the ingredients and the history of beer while you discover some of the best breweries Asheville has to offer. At each stop on the brewery tour, you will enjoy three to four six ounce samples of beer. It is highly recommended that you eat a substantial meal before the tour and take smaller samples if you feel like you've had enough alcohol. In between breweries, your guide will tell you about the history of Asheville and how it came to be the beautiful city it is today. Feel free to ask questions at any point during the tour. My boyfriend and i wanted a little something more from our brewery tour than just to get drunk with a bunch of other people. So we did a little research and found the Brew-ed tour. It seemed to be just what we were looking for, and boy we were right!!! Cliff was sooooo amazing and really new his stuff about the beer making process, proper methods for tasting beer, and Asheville history. If your only in town for a little while and are looking for a little something extra special to make your vacation great...this tour IS IT!

After researching the different brewery tours in Asheville, we decided on Cliff's tour and we were definitely impressed. Not only is Cliff extremely knowledgeable but he is very engaging and an all-around fun guy. Tour groups were small to medium so the tour felt more personal. Got access to behind-the-scenes brewery stuff and definitely got to taste a good amount of great beer (small glasses of about nine different beers in total so probably the equivalent of five to six beers). My girlfriend and I would definitely recommend!

This is a great tour - lots of information on the brewing process, and the various styles of beer from each of the breweries visited, plus interesting historical notes on Asheville. Cliff does a good job making the tour fun for everyone from the casual beer drinker to the experienced beer nerds. Well done - definitely the tour to choose in Asheville.
