What To Expect

This Brewery Tour is hosted by a Certified Cicerone, a recognized expert when it comes to beer. As your guide takes you to each brewery, you'll do more than just drink. You'll learn about the brewing process, the ingredients and the history of beer while you discover some of the best breweries Asheville has to offer. At each stop on the brewery tour, you will enjoy three to four six ounce samples of beer. It is highly recommended that you eat a substantial meal before the tour and take smaller samples if you feel like you've had enough alcohol. In between breweries, your guide will tell you about the history of Asheville and how it came to be the beautiful city it is today. Feel free to ask questions at any point during the tour. Cliff was awesome! I have done several brew tours in Asheville and this one was my favorite! Cliff is extremely knowledgable, professional, and fun! Talk about a trooper, he put up with 20 rowdy girls on a bachelorette party dressed as leprechauns. Thanks for the memories Cliff, we highly recommend brew-ed!!!

Cliff is very knowledgeable about the brewery industry. Loved the fact that he took us to three very different breweries. Enjoyed the Asheville history. That was an added plus to the tour.

My husband is an amateur brewer and was so excited to be a part of this tour because of the behind-the-scenes access and education that was offered. The tour guide Cliff was knowledgeable and the tour was fantastic. We walked to three downtown breweries, all unique in size and operation. They were each only several blocks apart - but the walks go by quickly since you learn history about the town of Asheville as well! It was a great trip and would recommend to couples or singles!
