This tour is just a short walk through great Chicago neighborhoods starting near Navy Pier and the Magnificent Mile, and then heading into the Gold Coast & River North. Compare two American pizzas vs. two Italian pizzas to understand how pizza evolved as an immigrant food. Explore Deep Dish, Roman, Neapolitan, and Artisanal pizza in just a couple of hours. Discuss how each of these styles is crafted and the differences in their ingredients, baking techniques, and ovens. Plenty of pizza to eat, come hungry!

We will walk past Holy Name Cathedral after one of our pizza stops.

Jon was very knowledgeable and gave great insights into the four different pizzas we tried. He did a great job of explaining explaining the differences in crusts, toppings and sauces. He also shared details about the owners and history of each place. Worth the time and the pizza was delicious!

This was our 2nd tour and it was again beyond amazing! Jon was great and super friendly. Pizza from all 4 restaurants were great and I love all the knowledge he has of each and such facts about pizza in general is just amazing. Our entire tour were locals so it's not just for out of town people. Great afternoon for us and we brought our two small kids who loved all the pizza as well!!!! THANK YOU JON
