The weather was perfect and the energy from all the visitors was awesome and everyone was helping each other take the perfect photos. The bar tenders were very friendly and working hard to keep the line moving.

The Edge's handling of COVID-19 precautions was awful. The indoor queuing area was very tightly packed, with no attempts by staff (or markings on the floor) to encourage social distancing. This was especially disturbing because a huge number of other guests were not wearing masks, and staff made no attempts to require or encourage mask wearing, including on the very tightly packed elevator ride to the deck. The staff at the security screening were also rude. My wife's bag was inspected (which is fine and understandable) and she was sent to go back through the metal detector without it. I attempted to stand out of the way near where her bag was left on the table and to wait for her, but multiple staff members rudely told me that I had to continue along in the line without her. Then in the hallways leading up to the elevators, there was no indication how long that process would take and nowhere for anyone to sit down (my wife is pregnant and very much could have used a chance to get off of her feet during that process, as I imagine many other people could have as well (I would not, for example, consider this to be something that I could bring my grandparents to based on the amount of standing required without any seating)).
