It was a rainy day, but we ferried over to the Statue of Liberty and our guide started pointing out historic facts before we even left the port. He had a vast knowledge of New York and he willingly offered answers to all our questions. Admission to the inside of the statue of Liberty is only achieved through the Parks Department. Our guide seemed to have less to offer re: Ellis Island

This is the first Viator tour I would not recommend. Febreze have a quick review of the program for the day. Explained the flag pole from the Dutch and got us in line for the ferry and left. plan an hour to wait in line for each ferry be sure to get the audio player.

Skip the line was a complete lie as we waited two hours in a “tuna can” type line with hundreds of people waiting to get on the boat. Our tour guide didn’t even make sure we got off the boat with them because he lost us the swarm of people!! Not once did we have a guide on this except to get us through security. You DO NOT get to skip the line and no tour guide. Save your money and pay general admission because it’s the same. !!
