• Both tickets must be used the same calendar day by the same customer (face recognition technology used to validate)
• Non-transferable and non-refundable
Important Note:
• Everyone must go through the security check when entering the building
• No glass or bottles are permitted to be taken to the Observatory
• Cameras and camcorders are allowed, but no tripods
• You can ONLY bring carry-on-size bags and backpacks
• There are no rooms to check coats, packages, baggage or suitcases, so please don't bring them to the Observatory

Masks are optional for all guests at the Empire State Building Observatory Experience. For guest comfort, Observatory staff is fully vaccinated and will continue to wear masks.

We used the Citypass and it's always worth it to save a few dollars and skip ahead in lines. Great views on this clear day!

Unfortunately, we picked a night when it was WINDY and FREEZING. Had trouble standing until we moved over to the leeward side of the platform. Paid extra for a "no line" ticket, not needed on this evening. It may be wise to check the weather report before paying for that ticket. If your going to be in NYC more than 1 night, plan your visit to the Empire State Bldg. around the weather and purchase your tickets accordingly.

an absolute must, got there for 08:00 in the morning and hardly an queue, nice clear but fresh morning brilliant. Then returned again at 20:00 the views at night with all lit up amazing well recommended and so nice not having to queue up
