• Both tickets must be used the same calendar day by the same customer (face recognition technology used to validate)

Important Note:
• Everyone must go through the security check when entering the building
• No glass or bottles are permitted to be taken to the Observatory
• Cameras and camcorders are allowed, but no tripods
• You can ONLY bring carry-on-size bags and backpacks
• There are no rooms to check coats, packages, baggage or suitcases, so please don't bring them to the Observatory

Masks are optional for all guests at the Empire State Building Observatory Experience. For guest comfort, Observatory staff is fully vaccinated and will continue to wear masks.

We bought tickets at the Empire State Building, following amazing help from staff member Sharon B. We decided to go with day/night tickets. Views were amazing and 2nd floor had some interesting displays and fun photo opportunities. Our preference was night time, city looks amazing with all the lights (not to mention hardly any queue). If going during the day I would recommend trying to align your time at top with sunset....though expect there to be long queues as this is most popular time!

Far too many people. Spent more time queuing than enjoying the experience. Great views from the top, but again, too many people pushing to get a view.
