• Everyone must go through the security check when entering the building
• No glass or bottles are permitted to be taken to the Observatory
• Cameras and camcorders are allowed, but no tripods
• You can ONLY bring carry-on-size bags and backpacks
• There are no rooms to check coats, packages, baggage or suitcases, so please don't bring them to the Observatory

What To Expect

Empire State Building

Amazing time the views were incredible during the day and at night. Also Edwin was super accommodating, knowledgeable, and overall a wonderful person. If you get the chance to meet him consider yourself lucky.

This was surprisingly lovely and wasn’t just a boring building as I had expected! We arrived at one of the first slots of the day and so it wasn’t too busy and we got in quite quickly! When inside there was a great museum section about the history and there were lots of photo opportunities. There was a gallery of movies and shows the building has been in as well. There is actually a King-Kong arm coming in to the building which you can pose with! When we got to the highest point of the building you can go on the views were amazing!! There was a flower wall where we could take photos and it was all lovely. The building is a great family friendly attraction and is actually great!!

We had a great time on the 86th floor. We were able to go at 8:45pm so it was still sunset. Great views of the city. We really enjoyed it.
